Southern Hospitality - April 11

"Go big or go home", that's what I always say.  Well, maybe I say that sometimes.  Rarely.  Okay, fine:  I've never said that.

NONETHELESS:

Game night has gotten big lately.  It's gotten too big for email lists and the like, so I'm moving it to a (tiny) blogging platform.  I feel this really accentuates the ideal of openness, friendship, and hospitality.  Furthermore,  ....

... and that's why I'm now blogging!  This way you can share it with your friends, and invite them to come over!  Which will cause your friends look at you funny!

Speaking of hospitality, this weeks food theme is "southern".  And of course when I say "southern food" I really mean "southern comfort food", because there's really no other kind.  That's right, I'm talking fried chicken, I'm talking pot pie, and I'm talking heaping sides of mashed potatoes, cornbread, and mac'n'cheese.  Because clearly those are veggies, and veggies are what go in sections two and three of your three section plate:

Okay, so the basics:
Location: ...  I'm a bit ... leery about posting my address online, but please email me or contact me or something and I'll send it your way.
Time: Saturday, April 11 2015  at *about* 6 PM
Actual time: show up whenever, it's pretty casual :)

Oh, and the game of the night.  It's going to start being extra special, as I'm planning on starting to do photo shoots with the winner.  The game of the night is also going to be themed with hospitality.  Are You ready?

Really ready?

You're not ready.  Get ready.

Get it!?  HOSPITALity?

Oh man.  I love bad puns.  No, I'm kidding.  We're not playing that game.  I don't even own that game.  We're playing "Pit".  That doesn't really go with the theme, but screw it.  I like Pit.

  1. I know how to play Pit. I might be there, depending on how my better half is feeling. Right now he is down in the pits.
